Bridging Precision and Efficiency
PCM (Prepreg Compression Molding) is a high-efficiency manufacturing process that bridges the gap between slow, high-cost autoclave curing and lower-performance injection molding. It utilizes pre-impregnated fiber sheets (Prepreg) which are placed into a heated mold and cured under pressure.
At SUASE MOULD, we design PCM tooling to achieve Net Shape Molding—producing parts that require minimal to no trimming. Our molds ensure precise fiber alignment and excellent surface quality, making them ideal for visible carbon fiber parts in automotive interiors and consumer electronics.
High Fiber Volume

The PCM Process
Rapid curing for mass production of high-performance parts.
1. Cutting
Precision cutting of prepreg sheets (carbon or glass) into 2D patterns.
2. Preforming
Stacking patterns to create a 3D preform, often using automated or manual lay-up.
3. Hot Pressing
The preform is placed in a heated SUASE mold and compressed to cure the resin rapidly.
4. Demolding
Part removal and minimal finishing. Net-shape molding reduces waste.

Class-A Surface
PCM molds are polished to a mirror finish, enabling the production of parts with flawless surfaces, often requiring no painting (Visual Carbon).
Rapid Curing
By optimizing mold temperature and pressure, we achieve cure times significantly faster than autoclave processes, enabling medium-to-high volume production.
Net-Shape Accuracy
Precision shear edges and mold closures minimize resin flash, producing parts that are virtually ready for assembly straight out of the mold.
